We are a highly collaborative group focused on understanding how arboviruses and other positive-sense single-stranded RNA viruses interact with their hosts at the molecular level. We are located in the Veterinary Medical Center.

Lab philosophy and values

Our lab is dedicated to conducting impactful research while fostering a culture of inclusion, equity, teamwork, professionalism, curiosity, and ethical conduct. We aim to contribute to both science and society through rigorous virology research and the dissemination of our findings.

We are dedicated to advancing the Belonging at Cornell framework, which is in line with Cornell’s founding principle “…any person… any study”.

Our lab is a proud participant in NIH’s Cornell FIRST.
